How the treatment is planned.
Radiesse contains calcium hydroxylapatite microspheres in a gel carrier. It can provide an initial supportive effect while stimulating collagen over time. Placement, dilution and treatment area significantly change the purpose of treatment. It is not a like-for-like substitute for hyaluronic-acid filler and cannot be dissolved in the same way.
Recovery & safety.
Swelling, bruising, tenderness, asymmetry and nodules may occur. As with other injectables, rare vascular complications can be serious. The product is not suitable for every facial area. Your clinician should explain why it is being selected, the proposed technique and what follow-up is available.

Is Radiesse a filler or a collagen stimulator?
It can have both an immediate supportive effect and a longer-term collagen-stimulating role, depending on how it is used.
Can Radiesse be dissolved?
It is not dissolved with hyaluronidase like hyaluronic-acid filler. This makes careful product selection and placement particularly important.
When will I see the final result?
